However, the measurement system for microseism is cost even up to one million NT. dollars, and it is impossible for the common research groups to pay such a price at all, and then lose the opportunities of doing the relative researches. This phenomenon not only attacks the native researcher’s rights but also be an obstacle for Taiwan to grow into a high-tech island. For this reason, this study is mainly to develop an automatic program for microseism measurement, and further will provide this program for the public to use or make it better. In which, I use Visual Basic 6.0 to setup a user interface, and for the hardware, the system includes the collector accessory, accelerometer, integrator, etc. Besides, in this study, we performed two field experiments at Kaohsiung LuChu Science Park and Tainan MaDou respectively in order to validate our system by comparing the received dB values with the National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE) and a consultant company, and the comparison results are briefly described as follows: 1.For the comparison with NCREE, the inaccuracies are about 2~3 dB, indicating an acceptable results for the field experiment. Furthermore, the inaccuracies mainly appear at the part of lower dB, but not on the peak which we care. Therefore, those inaccuracies just have a small influence on the vibration analysis. 2.For the comparison with a consultant company, the two dB curves are almost covered each other, indicating a very well consequence.
