First commercial bank has been chosen to be the studied case because of the glorious history and the excellent performance it has. Moreover, transformation from state-run company to private owned company and being included in the financial holding company make First commercial bank to be the best choice of the study. By reviewing secondary data and interviewing with relative persons some empirical results are obtained and illustrated as follows. First, competitive strategy, business and organizational structure are deeply influenced by laws and regulations. Second, competitive strategy has the most significant influence on organizational structure design. However, the influence of competitive strategy appears to be important after the performance and net operating profit of organization decline dramatically. Third, core competence will be put into consideration while designing organizational structure and operational procedure.
