Abstract
In the past decades, the arisen concepts of“global governance”,“global city”and“local governance”have become the hot topics. It indicates the globalization is impacting the public perceptions in the way of traditional international relationship, nations and cities. From the tendency, local city must be the main battlefield of globalization. This article, based on the concept of governance, is trying to discuss few questions in the view of governance networks and case study of china’s suzhou：（1）What factors boost the economic development of suzhou city?（2） Local government how to be a crucial role to influence the development of local city in the process of economic globalization？（3）Which channel that foreign capital invested in will push the development of local city ahead？ （4）Local social network, including local company and academia, how to promote the development of local city？
