Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 畜產學系 === 92 === The purpose of this study was to develop an online advisory system for wastewater treatment planning of pig farms to provide pig industry to carry on farm’s wastewater treatment planning and consultation on the Internet. This system also assists pig industry to get related knowledge of processing unit before constructing wastewater processing plant and after operation. This system adopted the Windows 2000 Server operation system, and was developed by ASP (Active Server Pages) programming connected with the Microsoft Access Database and executed on web-page through browser (Internet Explorer 5.5 upward). The system collected common wastewater treatment methods in Taiwan and was divided into eight sections concerning process, unit, planning, consultation and related dictionary of wastewater treatment, related websites, user manual and registration system. The planning and consultation of wastewater treatment are mainly focuses in this system. The section of planning of wastewater treatment gives planning and suggestion according to operation scale, land used on wastewater treatment plant, wastewater composition and concentration, estimated quantity of wastewater, treatment efficiency of each wastewater processing unit and effluent standard of wastewater. The section of consultation was divided into three parts in terms of first-class, second-class, and third-class treatments. The treatment methods include three kinds of physical, chemical and biological. The contents of each treatment unit concern collection of unit name, concept of principle and classification, applied characteristics and design condition, treatment matters and suggestion on extraordinary countermeasure. The system uses interactive mode running on the website to assist users to obtain related information about wastewater planning and problem consultation.
