Description
Summary:碩士 === 明志技術學院 === 工程管理研究所 === 92 === Fitts law design has been discussed in numerous. However , the PDA used for stylus input method has not been investigated .This study compares operation distance and performance between Mylar thickness and touch pad in terms of different setting directions. This study collected the experiment data from 12 engineers in High Technology Company Component Engineering Department .The experiment of interfaces on PDA were established by embedded visual basic program.,clicking sequences and positions, background Mylar thickness and size had significant effects on clicking performance of icons on PDA . According to analysis the experiment data , there three results. While the click performance of icons, operation distance and Mylar thickness on PDA would be meet Fitts law. Base on the 1st result, We create a new ID to modify Fitts law on PDA operation Protection LCD of Mylar size was recommended to be as least 0.2mm.
