Summary: | 碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士在職專班 === 92 === Recently, Knowledge Management (KM) is the important issue to research competitive advantage and organizational effectiveness for management practices and academic researches. In the literatures, there are different perspectives to discuss about KM such as Process, System and Resource viewpoint, but we still lack of an integrate model to explain the organizational effectiveness. This study proposes an integrated research model from the literatures based on capability perspective, and makes empirical analysis on the relationships between KM & organizational effectiveness.
Samples come from the information service industry. Research method bases on the questionnaire survey and multivariate analysis. This study develops the performance indicators from the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) theory. As the result of the study, the dimensions of Knowledge Capability are extracted as five factors : ”Application of Information Technology”, ”Knowledge Sharing Culture”, ”Converison Process of Outside Knowledge”、”Sharing & Application Process of Inside Knowledge” and ”Knowledge Protection Process”. The dimensions of Organizational Effectiveness are extracted as two factors : “Effectiveness of Organizational Management & Employee Growth” and “Effectiveness of Organizational Administration and Market Development”. The five factors of Knowledge Capabilities all have strong relationship with “Effectiveness of Organizational Management & Employee Growth”, but there are only three factors have strong relationship with “Effectiveness of Organizational Administration and Market Development” such as “Sharing & Application Process of Inside Knowledge”, ”Knowledge Protect Process” and “Application of Information Technology”.
This study has found a new KM research model with high explanation ability to Organizational Effectiveness. For the further studies and management practices, the research result can provide deep insights and contributes.
