Summary: | 碩士 === 高苑技術學院 === 經營管理研究所 === 92 === This study aims to explore the international human capital, human resource management practices, knowledge storage ability and organizational performance for the multinational corporations. Firstly, the authors review the related literature, set up the research framework, develop four kind inventories and construct seven basic hypotheses. Secondly, the researchers implement an empirical survey for the 136 subsidiaries of Taiwanese firms in Mainland China. reliability analysis, validity analysis, one-way ANOVA, analysis of correlation and logistic regression analysis to test hypotheses. The results of the study indicate that:
1. Variations from different company scales: For the professional skills, professional skill use level in the work is higher, when the company scale of Expatriates is smaller. For the completed education train, the train plan include pre-departure, re-entry, and enhance knowledge and skills in the work, the Expatriates in smaller company scales is the more enthusiastic.
2. Variations from different value chain activities: For the internal performance, the research develop and manufacture activities company is the more enthusiastic than marketing and place activities company.
3. A significant positive correlation was identified among international human capital, human resource management practices and organizational performance.
4. international human capital and human resource management practices was positively significant to organizational performance.
5. human resource management practices was found to have a significant mediating effect between international human capital and organizational performance.
6. knowledge storage capability was found to have a significant moderating effect among relationships of international human capital, human resource management practices and organizational performance.
