Summary: | 碩士 === 崑山科技大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 92 === This research is focused on the studies of the toggle mechanism applied in a plastic injection machine (PIM) owing to its widely use.Two topic are included in this research. New toggle mechanism development is first studied by type synthesis method and the optimization of linkages dimensions of toggle mechanism is followed.
Yan’s creative topology mechanism design methodology is used in type synthesis to find a new toggle mechanism applied in a PIM. In the optimization of linkages dimensions the kinematics characteristics analysis is studied first to recognize the influence of the change in linkages dimensions on the kinematics characteristics of whole mechanism. also, these results can be applied to be the constraints in dimensions optimization to find a optimal design.
The final result of optimization is evaluated by a kinematics analysis software, Working Model, to conform its reliability. It is also compared to the original design to make sure it is more efficient in the performances of stroke and cycle time.
Additionally, a software is developed by VB in this study. By this software, designer can decide the dimension of clamping cylinder easily and the time wasting and mistakes can be avoided.
