Summary: | 碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理科學研究所 === 92 === In order to investigate the relationship between administrator’s transformational leadership and school effectiveness of vocational and senior high schools, we collected raw data from thirty vocational and senior high schools in Kaohsiung city, including private as well as municipal ones. The total sampling size was 280. 245 of them were received. The response rate was 88%. Despite of 12 ineffective questionnaires, the total number of effective questionnaires was 233. The effective response rate was 83%. The primary conclusions of this study are listed below:
1.It shows good performance of administrator’s transformational leadership in vocational and senior high schools of Kaohsiung city. However, the ability of creating vision has much space to be improved.
2.It shows good school effectiveness performance of vocational and senior high schools in Kaohsiung city. However, the job satisfaction needs to have some improvement.
3.The transformational leadership among female administrators and directors in vocational and senior high schools can be promoted.
4.The fact that Administrators belong to director’s level valued school effectiveness higher than those belong to chief’s level did need more deliberate analysis.
5.The computerization of administration and instruction in vocational high schools needs to be improved when compared with that in senior high schools.
6.The administrator''s transformational leadership has significantly positive correlation with school effectiveness.
7.The performance of the administrators’ transformational leadership can be used to predict the fulfillment of the school effectiveness.
