Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 電子工程學系 === 92 === In this paper, the different ground planes affect the gain of the antenna will be discussed. The way we use is to change the size of ground plane and we must observe some characteristics of antennas. We will get the best gain of the antenna by optimizing the ground plane. Besides, we also use frequency reduction scheme to reduce the area of the antenna. First, We will take bended microstrip antennas as our basis. We will bring up a new idea about the ground plane of microstrip antennas and find the way to improve the gain of antennas by using different ground planes. On the other hand, we focus on rectangular microstrip antennas loaded with capacitors in this paper and use the same shape on it. In ordinary, that patch antennas have twice ground sizes as long as the length and width of the antenna and the gain of the antenna will be best. In terms of our antenna, the ground plane is different with traditional plane styles.
