Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 工業工程與管理學系 === 92 === “Knowledge is power.” Usually, members in the organization think that if they own some unique knowledge then they could have a better position and a higher authority power. Hence, they usually keep their own knowledge and are not willing to share what they knew with others. Knowledge, however, must be shared and exchanged frequently in any organization to have a higher value or benefits. Otherwise, organizational competitive advantage could be decayed rapidly. It is an important topic to build up a learning organization to encourage members to contribute their knowledge with the members in the organization. This research is to discuss the way of promoting knowledge sharing and to build a detailed process for the faculties in the Air force academies. Military academy is the cradle for the military students and the faculties play the most important roles in training these students. If faculties in the related military institutes realize the concepts of the knowledge management and establish a sound learning environment for sharing, it could have a better teaching performance for the students. Based on the above reasons, the purpose of this research is to have a better understanding of the tendency of sharing and to build the relationship between the sharing tendency and the teaching performance of the faculties. Questionnaires for collecting the data from the faculties in the military academies were first created and then delivered. These questionnaires were composed of five parts: the personal characteristics of the faculties, the sharing mechanism, the professional capabilities of the faculties, the teaching related activities, and the teaching performance. The totals of 245 questionnaires were distributed and 220 valid questionnaires were analyzed using the software of SPSS 10. The methods used in this study included reliability analysis, factor analysis, ANOVA and the correlation analysis. The results show that the personal characteristic of the faculties have a significant impact on the sharing mechanism, the professional capabilities and the teaching activities. The sharing mechanism, the professional capabilities and the teaching activities are significant related to the teaching performance.
