Summary: | 碩士 === 華梵大學 === 工業設計系碩士班 === 92 === This study aims to explore the product images triggered by wine bottle shapes and try to clarify the relationships between form parameters and product images. Experiment samples, wine bottles, are described by form parameters and 3D software. Subjects are invited to evaluate the developing parametric samples through the semantic differential method. With cluster analysis and factor analysis results, the main factor variation affected by form parameter and the effect of parameter’s value changing are explored. The results of the study are:
1.An integrity method which represents the characteristic of wine bottle form is described the form by parameters.
2.When the two parameters, bottle-neck curve and bottle-body line angle, are changed the value from small to middle, and it causes great effect of wine bottle’s identity.
3.The main factors of wine bottle are appraisal factor and formal factor.
4.In different image words, high effect parameters are not the same.
5.The selection model for the parameter value combination corresponding to evaluation scores of product image is demonstrated and the database of product image is also established.
Through this study, the feasibility of form parametric method and the selection model are demonstrated. They try to help designers for creating and adjusting the product form and image efficiently and in order to correspond with customers’ requirement and changing for product style quickly.
