Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 圖書資訊學系 === 92 === Along with the development of the technological application in education, E-Learning is becoming a new trend of learning. During the past few years, educational organizations, including universities and libraries, have invested much effort in implementing E-Learning into practical teaching and training settings. The development of various learning management systems have become a powerful tool to provide new way of web-based learning and teaching, as well as efficient course management. With the quick adaptation of technology, the quality of development and implementation need to be assessed systematically. The use of criteria for the evaluation of learning management systems becomes critical. In order to determine the criteria needed for evaluating a learning management system, the study was conducted using Delphi Method to gather responses from experts. Nineteen participants of this study were faculty members from Fu-Jen Catholic University. The members of the Delphi group were those who were experienced in implementation of E-Learning at Fu Jen Catholic University (including teachers and system management staffs). A list of questionnaire items (containing 53 items to reflect the use of evaluation criteria) were first developed from review of related literature, and then distributed to each expert through a web-based questionnaire. The Delphi questionnaire was distributed three rounds to experts to indicate a level of agreement (Likert Scale 1-5 point to express from “strongly disagree” to “strongly agree”) on each of the evaluation items listed. In each round, a statistical summary of previous round was provided. Experts could make revisions or persist on their previous responses. At the end of the study, summary of the results and implications for future adaptation of these evaluation items are drawn.
