Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 電子工程學系 === 92 === In this paper, we propose a design and Implementation of a Remote Electrocardiogram measurement system. An electrocardiogram system can be an important measurement instrument for a patient with heart disease. Usually, a medical measurement system is expensive and cannot be easily accessed by a needed patient. In addition, the patient in need may need a medical measurement system to monitor one’s body condition even if that individual is not in a hospital. Moreover, due to the improvement of current software and hardware technology of computer systems and networks, a remote medical measurement system needs to be redesigned by using more modern technologies, such as: a Windows-based GUI, both the Internet and wireless networks, and an embedded circuit board. Hence, our project is separated into several sections: an ECG measurement system, an embedded circuit board, and the remote medical information web server. The performance of the medical server systems can be important to provide a high quality level of services. Usually, too many patients or users accessing a medical server can cause congestion and delay. To plan a system’s capacity, we propose a queuing network model to estimate the performance index of a medical information system. Before the implementation of the medical information system, we can estimate the performance of this system.
