Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 環境工程與科學所 === 92 === Supercritical fluid extraction is a technique which takes advantage of the enhanced solvent power of supercritical fluids (SCFs). The great solvating power of these fluids is due to the superior properties of density and low viscosity, which are intermediated characteristics between those of a gas and a liquid . In this study, Grape fruit peel、Lemon peel、Rosemary and Orange peel (we call these are “natural matter”) were extracted by supercritical carbon dioxide and traditional shoxhlet methods. The extraction precent and the major component (limonene) of the extract were using batch type apparatus in the pressure and temperature ranges of 1500~4500 psi and 40~70℃, respectively. In one stage-one factor method, the extraction coefficient of essential oil from natural matter with supercritical carbon dioxide was measured as a function of static extraction time, temperature, pressure and the dynamic carbon dioxide flushing rate, and the optimal extraction conditions were carefully evaluated.
