Facing the challenge of new and social welfare service industrialization, senior citizens’ welfare institutions should revise the conservative idea and face the importance of the organizational change, for the sake of the sustainability of institutions’ development in the market environment with keen competition
The purpose of this research lies in : Through researching and analyzing the cognition , attitude and behavior of organizational change of bodhi home, I want to understand below and try to build the model of the organizational change of bodhi home: When the similar change takes place to the organization, how will she deal with? Who does the decision-making? Does the staff participate in? What kind strategy does the organization adopt? What is the vision of bodhi home?
This research discoveries that: first, no anyone of those kinds of theories mentioned in my research of organizational change can fully explain the phenomenon of the organizational change of such a nonprofit organization like bodhi home’s. Secondly, as regards organizational change of bodhi home, the expectation of the leaders or the threat of the environment, except the factor of changing of law, do not have critical relation with. But organize ecology and theory of relying on resource and making the transition at random, are the suitable three kinds of theories for bodhi home’s organizational change. Finally, Carrying on the track type of its organizational change is not to follow in order and advance step by step by way of line type.
