Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 電機工程所 === 92 === This thesis aims to design high performance switched reluctance motors. First, a motor design software, Motorsoft SPEED is used to design a prototype switched reluctance motor, and then the performances of the motors is obtained. Finally, a finite element analysis software, Magsoft Flux2D, is conducted to verify and evaluate the performances of the switched reluctance motor.
The performance analysis for the designed motor includes calculation the flux-linkages, inductance, coenergy, radial force, and torque in various currents and rotor positions in magnetostatic state. In transient magnetic field situation, the effects of rotor eccentricity on switched reluctance motors are discussed, which include average torque under eccentric situation and normal situation, torque characteristics with various speeds, magnitude of radial force on single pole exciting mode, radial force under various current exciting mode, x-y plane distribution scheme of radial force on single phase exciting mode. At last, the effects of stator pole shoes on torque ripple, motor torque and harmonic under one-phase-fault condition are investigated. This thesis would be able to provide complete reference data and design procedures for motor design engineers.
