Crystallization and Thermal Degradation of Di-methyl Terephthalate /Ethylene Glycol /1,4-butanediol Copolyesters

碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 紡織工程所 === 92 === The aim of this study was focused on crystallization, melting, and degradation behavior of a series of copolyesters, which were synthesized by dimethyl terephthalate/ ethylene glycol/ 1,4-Butanediol with varying ethylene glycol/ 1,4-Butanediol ratios. Crystallization peak temperature, melting peak temperature, crystallization enthalpy, and melting enthalpy were measured with a differential scanning calorimertre and the influence of non-isothermal crystallization condition on melting behavior of a series of copolyesters was discussed. Avrami exponent, crystallization rate constant, and crystallization half-time were calculated. Degradation behavior was studied with a thermogravimetric analyzer and the degradation activation energy was calculated by the Doyle-Ozawa integral method. The crystallization structure was studied with a wide angle X-ray diffractometer. Crystallization morphology was observed with a hot stage polarizing microscope, and a scanning electron microscope. Results showed that crystallization, melting, degradation, and crystallization morphology of copolyester were changed by dimethyl terephthalate/ ethylene glycol/ 1,4-Butanediol with varying the sequence distribution ratios. However, the ability of crystallization of PET and PBT are better than series of copolyesters. Therefore, the crystallization, melting, and degradation behavior of a series of copolyesters are changed. none 石天威 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 78 zh-TW
