Observing the industrial structure and the circumstance of the domestic and foreign environments, the textile industry in Taiwan has been able to develop high value-added products such us hi-tech. textiles. Due to the rapid changes of the market and the customers’ demand, it is suggested that Supply Chain Management should be introduced, and integrate the upper, middle, and the lower streams in order to minimizing operational risks and costs. In this research, the System Dynamics Approach will be used for model building and simulation. Moreover, through the scenarios analysis based on the two existing strategies, namely Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order, an appropriate product strategy will be decided by a series of the key performance index measuring: inventory turnover ratio, inventory holding cost, and order fulfillment ratio. Finally, the result shows that the Make-to-Order is the most appropriate product strategy with better performance in five scenarios. That is to say, due to the higher inventory turnover ratio and appropriate service level, the inventory and holding cost of MTO can be lower than MTS by 50%, and less variation, which shows that MTO is more robust than MTS. none 黃金鳳 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 108 zh-TW |
