碩士 === 大葉大學 === 設計研究所 === 92 === In Taiwan, people gradually have proper concept of material recycling and reusing after the promotion of recycling and reducing policy by the government. However, because of an oversight on basic waste recycling facility, people could not sort and recycle the waste with an effective way at the first moment. It makes the recycling more difficult, inefficient and expensive. Therefore, it is necessary to study and redesign the public waste recycling facility based on users’ environmental protection consciousness and behavior. Through the applications of environmental protection consciousness and behavior model in green product design and development, as a result, users can recognize recycling approach and identify correct sorting easily. Finally, the highest efficiency of waste sorting, recycling, reusing and regeneration may be achieved. This paper is from the standing points of metropolitan life style to survey the group of household garbage and the sorting methods, and further analyze the needs and ideas of garbage recycling facility for metropolitan household. The author submit recycling facility design for family to implement the scheme of waste sorting and recycling so that make various garbage recycled effectively and create comfortable living environment. This paper tries to find out the different needs of public waste recycling facility by analyzing and summarizing the factors of environmental protection consciousness, behaviors and habits from college students. Then, the research transfer these analyzed special features into product design factors for public waste recycling facilities. As a result, the public environmental protection facility can obtain an improvement on waste recycling convenience and efficiency. At the same time, it can avoid disagreement and waste in environmental space due to the consideration of agreement between product and public space. Through the efficiency improved on waste recycling, people not only can achieve the goal of environmental protection but also make the dream of sustainable development come true.
