Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 工業工程學系碩士班 === 92 === According to the statistics of Ministry of the Interior, the population of people with hearing or language impairment is more than 90,000, taking the 2nd place in all of the disabled ones. In view of the factors mentioned above, this research takes advantage of the relevant skills of multimedia technology and the application of a Web-Based Instructional Environment to construct a set of instructional an online system for sign language with situated learning for the student of elementary school and the purpose of aiding sign language learning.
This research adopts the analysis of relevant documents and the interview of teachers to find out the sign language with situated learning development of e-Learning for children with hearing or language impairment. This research is to bring benefits to the language development of student with hearing or language impairment under constrained resource of current education environment.
In brief, the major contributions of this paper are as follows:(1) Exploring and analyzing the related literacy of situated learning. (2) Making use of the Internet to increase the opportunities for sign language learning so as to promote the effectiveness of sign language acquisition. (3) Providing the reference and direction for further study of traditional teaching and e-learning for student with hearing or language impairment. (4) Developing the blueprint of e-Learning platform for student with hearing or language impairment and provide the direction for further investigation.
