The structure of the proposed equalizer combines LITE, encoder, decoder, interleaver and de-interleaver. The turbo code-aided LITE is employed when the transmitter is with an encoder and an interleaver. The tap weights of the LITE is updated according to the difference between the received signal and the decoded signal corresponding to the encoder in the transmitter. Comparing with the conventional LITE and the proposed equalizer, the error performance of the equalizers under both AWGN and ISI channels are given.
