In this thesis, using signal flow chart, a new current mode nth-order universal (namely, low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, notch, all-pass) filter structure with double inputs and multiple outputs is proposed. Base upon this configuration, it would have the possessions of using the minimum active (Operational Transconductance Amplifier: OTA or Current-controlled Current Conveyor: CCCⅡ) and passive (Capacitors) components, as well as realizing all filtering functions without changing this configuration. Furthermore, the employment of single–input OTAs and grounded capacitors lead to good high-frequency operations under low supply voltages. The comparisons between two different types, one is using OTAs and capacitors or (OTA-C) while the other is using CCCⅡs and capacitors or (CCCⅡ-C), are presented by using H-spice simulations, with TSMC025 process and ±1.25V supply voltages, which validate good filtering, small noise and low sensitivity performances.
