The polyimide/clay nanocomposite materials were prepared by effectively dispersing the inorganic nanolayers of MMT clay in to the organic polyimide <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=matrix&v=56">matrix</a> via a thermal imidization up to 300℃. The as-synthesized nanocomposite materials were characterized by FT-IR, XRD and TEM. The nanocomposite material , enhanced better thermal properties , mechanical strength and gas barrier properties. The second part is concerned with the relative to the bulk polymer preparation and properties of Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene /clay (ABS/clay) nanocomposites materials .We used melt intercalation approach to prepare ABS/clay nanocomposites. The as-prepared nanocomposite materials were also characterized by FT-IR, XRD and TEM.
