碩士 === 中國醫藥大學 === 醫務管理研究所 === 92 === Abstract In the purpose of understanding the behavior of seeking for medical advise during SARS period and post-SARS period for people who lives in Chang hua County, the objects of this research are: 1. The comparison diagnosis of the deputy during SARS epidemic period and same period in previous year between individual case hospital and national medical associations 2. Discuss the variation diagnosis of seeking for medical behavior and the relativity with number, location and status of medical seeking behavior during SARS period for people who lives in Chang hua area. 3. The investigation of hygiene knowledge attitude behavior for people who lives in Chang hua area during SARS period and post SARS period. 4. The investigation of medical seeking behavior for people who lives in Chang hua area during SARS period and post SARS period. This research uses investigation research method and data diagnosis to observe individual behavior and attitude, as well as the data comparison between individual case hospital and national medical care. The research shows a total of 54 people (18%) sought for medical advice during the period of SARS. 36 people chose to go to the clinic; this is the highest rate. 16 chose the small hospital, 14 chose the big hospital; most of all, 13 people (24%) changed places, among them, 10 were transferred from hospital to clinic (76%), 3 were transferred from big hospital to small hospital, 12 out of all went back to the place where they went in March 2003. only one person indicates that he is used to the place he was staying and did not transfer to other places. According to this base-characteristic diagnosis, more medical advice seeking were found in 2003, relates to the medical advice seeking behavior during the SARS period, female has higher accounting rate than male, moreover, people sought for internal medicine devisions more than surgical devisions. The diagnosis of national out-patient declaration data from Bureau of National Health Insurance shows that the change rate of May and Jung in 2003 declined —22% and —13% compare to other period of time in 2003. The average fee statistic of national health care covered out-patient shows the arising average fee from April to Jung, 2003. The monthly rate analyze that April grown up 5% more than March, May grown up 11% more than April, and June grown up 4% more than May. The diagnosis of national in-patient declaration data from Bureau of National Health Insurance shows a declined situation from April to August, 2003, the annual growth rate declined —29% in May, -31% in June. The data of national health care covered in-patient fees indicates a positive growth; it is different from other declaration situation mentioned above.
