Summary: | 碩士 === 中華大學 === 營建管理研究所 === 92 === The design and construction of Biological Safety Level Ⅲ Laboratory (abbreviate to be Level Ⅲ Laboratory) is highly complicated and challenging tasks in the field of architecture. The integrative planning and design of Level Ⅲ Laboratory is a warrant of high quality of research and safety. In the last decades, there were lacking of adequate researches and experiences in Level Ⅲ Laboratory in Taiwan, the construction of this laboratory can not meet the realistic demands of the users and safety standards. Furthermore, the improvements of the sciences and technologies have made the architecture professionals need to reengineer the planning and design of Level Ⅲ Laboratory. The purposes of this study are to explore the important conceptions and modes of users and the designers on Level ΙΙΙ Laboratory, to establish the instructional norms as the bridge of design and communication to redeem the deficiency of Level Ⅲ Laboratory. The main study contents include overall layout, elementary support space needs and allocation, the allocation of laboratory hardware equipment and laboratory construction material in Level Ⅲ Laboratory. In addition, the present study also attempts to contrive a new layout checklist for Level Ⅲ Laboratory to make the designers more understand the kernel of planning and designing, and it can become the guideline of Level Ⅲ Laboratory for designers to improve the quality of construction of this type of laboratory in Taiwan.
