Through primary assessing after shaking, most school buildings are able to bear the ability of shaking insufficiently and not accord with the existing design code and specification to against the earthquake shaking. The present financial state of government can not support that the improved progress catch up with the speed produced in existing school buildings; so, how to use the limited financial funds to carry on the dangerous school building and improve the project is the present important subject of county and municipal governments. The topic of this research is that how to assess and mend strongly the school buildings of middle and primary school, make a systemic introduction. First, using review the documents to state the relevant degree and evolution about earthquake shaking bearing capacity and the present practice of shaking bearing capacity assessing in Taiwan; Secondly, introducing the execution step of the actual project about buildings shaking bearing capacity assessing and mend strongly design case. It states its content to divide the chapter in this research. By using statement of the assessing and mending strongly case of Zhongshan primary school of Panchiao city of Taipei Hsien to make an intact introduce about the buildings shaking bearing capacity assessing and mend strongly designing of middle and primary school, I hope that the research can be the useful reference for the middle and primary school and engineering field.
