Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 機電光工程研究所 === 92 === Traditional CNC implements are based on the PC. It wastes a lot of resources and time of computer when calculating NURBS interpolation. The need of faster hardware to solve this problem is urged. With the vigorous development of semiconductor, it brings out many powerful integrated circuit components that can replace some functions of PC. For example, Filed Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). This component used in implements system can not only alleviate the load of PC, but also economize the cost of opening up many products. As a result, in this thesis, I propose using FPGA to accomplish the NURBS interpolation system. Utilizing the parallel processing of FPGA hardware can reduce the time of calculating NURBS curve. With the great development of VLSI technology, this superiority would become clear.
