Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 92 === Training is important to company survival and competitive advantage. However, an appropriate training evaluation method is lacking for those companies. Hung et al. (2002) proposed a training evaluation method based on Kirkpatrick’s (1998) Four Levels Model and the Discrepancy Theory. To further test its external validity, this longitudinal study collected and analyzed three-year data from 2001 to 2003. A sample of 1,029 trainees of the e-Business training program was used to examine factors influencing trainees’ perceived satisfaction and help. In addition, we also compared the important factors from various years and training sites. Results from the moderated regression analysis indicate that: first, course content, course design, and instruction should be emphasized to meet trainees’ need. Second, trainees with higher met need perceive higher satisfaction and help, whereas those with lower met need perceive lower satisfaction and help. Therefore, various degree of trainees’ need should be considered while designing the training courses.
