The managers are striving to promote internal management capability energetically in order to adapt the fast changing environment and keep sustainable advantages. Knowledge has widely been acknowledged as the perhaps most important factor for corporate competitiveness. There is a growing recognition about the importance of managing knowledge as a critical source for competitive advantage. IT can mine useful knowledge from a large amount of data and provide helpfulness in acquiring, saving, accumulating, applying, creating and managing knowledge effectively, to make knowledge management(KM)work. Therefore, it is a worth research that how to improve the performance of KM by applying data mining technique and implement KM rely on building knowledge management system(KMS). Most of the research focused on the general concept about organization or culture in the KM area. There is little study focus on discussion for applying technology to carry out the management of kmowledge in the hospital.
Based on a comprehensive literature review, the study presents a conceptual architecture and constructs KMS for providing a platform of sharing knowledge by applying data mining technique ,network design languages. This paper illustrates the application of KM in the hospital by system demo,and proposals a research model and hypothesis about system evaluation,using the statistic method of stepwise multiple regression to discuss the factors which affect the intention to use, user satisfaction and benefits.
The results of the study indicate that users give vary high appraisal for the usefulness and practical application of data mining. The application of data mining technique plays an importment role in building KMS. The most important influential factors of intention to use are :「data mining」,「knowledge management process」,「service quality」,「knowledge quality」. The most important influential factors of user satisfaction are :「data mining」,「benefit」,「knowledge management process」,「knowledge quality」,「service quality」. The most important influential factors of benefits are :「intention to use」,「user satisfaction」. The results are provided to plan and implement KMS as references for medical industry.
