碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊工程研究所 === 92 === Our extendable framework which bases on Web Services model integrates e-Learning systems on application interface level and furthermore we implemente this framework within j2ee technology. Our extendable framework defines cooperation of pedagogic services and learning management systems by using Web Services technique. The traditional integration framework always focuses on “Services Level” and bases on particular platforms, hence it lacks interoperability. By using Web Services and referring to OKI architecture, our architecture solves and improves interoperability. Our architecture composes of two parts; one is “Micro-LMS” and the other is “Extended services”. Micro-LMS provides basic e-Learning services such as tracing, delivering of learning content, user management and etc. Extended Services provide more flexible pedagogic services for each individual course and they are integrated by using Web Services within Micro-LMS. Our implementation is built on j2ee framework and use UML to record the details of software development.
