Based on new technology and learning theory, this study applied Dick & Carsey’s Instructional System Design Model to constitute the learning support system. The system helps learners to solve learning problems. Survey method, interview, class observation, and system records are employed to study the relationship between learning support system and learning performance. The research structure of learning support system can be divided into four aspects such as technicality, community, function, and design. The elements of learning support system are academic resources search, problem counseling, learning guidance, and learning interaction. It is useful to provide learners operation modeling and on-line support on the learning support system. Problem counseling and academic resources search are important supports for learns’ need. The learning support system provides following services: questions an answers, learning guidance, on-line tutor, video aid, resources search, and tutor contact. The relationship between learning support and learning performance is stated as followed. There is no relationship between self-background variables and learning support. So do self-background variables and information literacy, information literacy and usage of learning support, information literacy and learning support valuation, and learning support valuation and learning performance. There is a positive relationship between information literacy and internet performance. So do frequencies of using supporting system and learning support valuation, and frequencies of using supporting system and learning performance. Future suggestions for internet teaching system are made. 1.Teaching system should expand its support and solidarity 2. The design of web pages should be friendly, simple and individualized. 3. Professional technology counseling should be provided. Suggestions for internet class design are the supply of professional tutors and learning interactive strategies. Also, some suggestions are given to future researchers.
