For satisfying our vision, it can make the coating hardware to be isolated and protected. In addition, the rapid progression of nanotechnology has caused the coating industry becoming multi-function and diversification.
For example, the nanotechnology can avoid the attack from the insects in our daily life, make the air fresh, and keep clothes from wetting and warm by itself. In the military it can speed the warfare ships up and save fuel efficiency. It can also make the warplane disappear on the radar screen.
In this study, the coating was composed of the resin, the solvent, and the hardener. It was prepared using military anti-infrared paint and mixing with poly-color paints according to the US military percentage, and then adds with the PU solvent and the hardener. The various percentage paintings were prepared and tested. There are some fundamental performance to be measured, such as, hardness, roughness, and impact. It also adds with Au and Ag nanoparticles into the paints. The responds with the frequencies were measured. According to the experimental results, the paints with nanoparticles can improve the absorbency of some frequencies.
