What unfair salary is perceived by the player will resulted in player’s laziness, and thus it will affect the winning percentage of team. The season games from year 1991to 2000 for all teams for Chinese Professional Baseball League are used to investigate the effects of player salary on the winning percentage of team by multiple-regression model. The resulted show that disparity on team salary do not affect the winning percentage of team, and it may be attributed to the unwilling of team for paying high salary. The team oppresses player’s salary as possible as it can, which it leads to less variance of disparity on team salary. The effect of total player-salary on winning percentage of team is significantly positive. It illustrates that higher total player-salary causes more player’s satisfaction can promote player’s morale, and thus total player-salary has a positive motivation effect. The effect of disparity of player salary on the winning percentage of team has significantly negative. If the salary of the player is less than the one of similar grade player of other team, the negative emotion effect of the player will affects the winning percentage of team.
