Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 機械工程學系 === 91 === Exposing to a noisy environment over a long period of time will cause irreversible damage to our hearing. Wearing a hearing protector is the most convenient way to protect hearing. This research designs an integrated test instrument, which enables the users to test the comfort and protective performance of earmuffs with simplified operation procedure. This research also applies the electronic filtering technology to earmuffs in order to solve the problem that workers cannot have conversation with each other while wearing an earmuff. With this improvement, we hope to increase the willingness of workers to wear an earmuff while working in a noisy environment.
