Most of these converters are non-linear loads,which bring power system unexpected current harmonics, voltage flicker and voltage noise, etc. In this thesis, three categories of neutral point clamped power converters are constructed for a single-phase on-line uninterruptible power supply system. They are includes neutral point AC switch clamped converter, neutral point diode clamped converter and capacitance clamped converter. Finally, simulations based on Matlab/Simulink are presented to demonstrate the performance of the adopted neutral point clamped power converters.
