Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 電子與資訊工程研究所碩士班 === 91 === This thesis focuses on the radar detection which can distinguish the target in the presence of various noise interferences. We first raised the signal to noise ratio (SNR) of radar received midband signal by square law concept, and then extracted the baseband envelope signal. In radar detection theorem, Constant False Alarm Rate (CFAR) must maintain as a constant. In the real world, however, it is inevitable to be interfered with various noise. Thus, in order to maintain a constant probability of false alarm the threshold value must be continuously updated based on the estimates of the noise variance. In this thesis, we developed a double threshold detection method which combines an adaptive threshold detection with M-out-of-N detection. It can significantly reject noise interfere and detect the target. It can also meet various system requirements by adjusting the probability parameters in this method. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed method, an Application of Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) was implemented using 0.35um 1P4M Silicide process technology, and the tested chip has been successfully verified. In addition, this study also provides a deliverable Silicon Intellectual Property (SIP). The reusable SIP has been successfully verified using Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA).
