It tried to analyze the mapping relationships between form elements and Kansei images through human’s psychological impression about products’ forms. An attempt was also made to further compare the roles played by different Kansei words during multi-Kansei evaluation. In the first stage, Kansei words were used to evaluate the users’ feelings about the forms of telephones. Then, the formal features of telephones were extracted for establishing their corresponding relationship with Kansei words. In the second stage, multiple Kansei words were used for the multi-Kansei evaluation, and comparisons among each single Kansei word were made to detect for any possible relationships among them, including dominating, excluding and prioritized weighting. The results showed that: (1) the scores estimated by users during multi-Kansei evaluation were lower than the average values calculated directly from the scores estimated during single Kansei evaluation especially for those extreme ones. In other words, (the score for multi-Kansei word A and word B) < ( the score for single Kansei word A + the score for single Kansei word B) ) / 2. (2) there was prioritized weighting among the words used for multi-Kansei evaluation, and users usually responded based on the first word. In other words, the preceding word had strong influence over the following ones, and the multi-Kansei score was dominated by the preceding Kansei word.
