Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 工業工程與管理研究所碩士班 === 91 === Many enterprises have introduced and applied various managerial techniques and skills to increase their competitiveness in order to adapt themselves to the on-going evolution of the macro business environment, for instance, from the TQC (Total Quality Control) in the early days, the JIT (Just In Time) of the TPS (Toyota Production System) after the oil crisis, to the TPM (Total Product Maintenance) in the 70’s. These methodologies all have been widely applied and reached certain achievements in various industries.
Regarding the above mentioned methodologies, respectively, many scholars have focused the studies on their effectiveness and factors that contribute to the success in reaching goals set by corporations respect. But not many studies, from a more practical point of view, have shed their light on the co-relations and frameworks of these three methodologies, nor on the introduction procedure of bringing these different systems into a company. The author wish to combine his professional expertise in the relevant field with his academic research on the issue, and propose a new practical framework of applying a new production management methodology by integrating TQC, TPS, and TPM. The relationship in these techniques and introduction procedure in applying these techniques will also be discussed.
The author has applied his methodology on the assembling section as well as the supplying chain of a company in a case study and verified the efficiency and effectiveness of his methodology. By the evaluation of ANOVA, it is proven that the proposed framework and the introduction of procedure the methodologies can greatly contribute to a company in improving its production management system. Therefore, companies could make references to this research and follow the guidelines recommended by the author when they want to improve their management on production.
