Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 工業工程與管理研究所碩士班 === 91 === Since Harris proposed his model of Economic Order Quantity(EOQ)in 1915, most of the researches about inventory management are concerned in both the order quantity and time to order. Watts et al. were the pioneers of using the control chart techniques in monitoring the efficiency of reorder systems in 1994. They used three control charts of inventory transfer rate(ITR), stockout and demand to monitor the efficiency of the inventory system. Pfohl et al. were the first persons of using the Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques in inventory management system in 1999. They used control chart to monitoring the inventory level and applied theory of statistics to recognize the change of inventory level. They also established decision rules of order quantity according to the change of inventory level. 詹易整(2000) pointed out the drawback of Pfohl et al.’s decision rules and brought up an improved decision rules. Nevertheless, the function of statistical test to detect the abnormal process by control chart has not been taking into account in the researches of Pfohl et al. and 詹易整. The principle of statistical test by control chart will be reinforce and the type I error will be used to establish the control limits of both inventory and demand control charts in this research. The result will compare with the results of Pfohl et al. and 詹易整. The run rules will be adapted to see if they can improve the efficiency of inventory management then. Production lead-time will be brought into the model of this research as one of the parameters to find out the decision rules of this last model.
