The cross-sectional method was applied in this study. Subjects of this study were health volunteers recruited from the Association of the health promoting in I-LAN. The structured scales of “Locus of Control Scale”, “Achievement Orientation Scale”, “Job involvement Scale” and “Job Satisfaction Scale” were applied for data collection. Three hundred and seventeen questionnaires were sent out with a returned rate of 68.7%. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe''s posterior comparison, Pearson’s product-moment correlation and stepwise regression analysis. The findings of this study were: (1) Volunteers with internal control characteristic were the majority in the health volunteers, and its average score is 34.93. (2) Degree of volunteers’ job involvement was 61.22 while the volunteers’ job satisfaction average was 93.12. (3) There is a negative relationship among volunteers’ Locus control orientation, job involvement and job satisfaction while the positive relationship exists among achievement orientation, job involvement and job satisfaction. (4) The significant predictors of job involvement of health volunteer were locus of control and achievement orientation, accounting for 17.8% variance of job involvement. The significant predictors of job satisfaction of health volunteer were locus of control and achievement orientation, accounting for 10.0% variance of job satisfaction. (5) There is a positive relationship between job involvement and job satisfaction. According to findings of this study, some suggests are as follows: (1) Personality type scale can be used and filled out by the volunteers to provide reference or information when assigning jobs or for human resource management. (2) The situation of volunteers’ cooperation influences their job satisfaction, therefore, the cooperation should be enhanced and build the personal network among volunteers to improve their job satisfaction. (3) Since the factor of welfare of institution was a significant factor for job satisfaction, welfare of institution should be improved in order to increase the commitment with institutions for health volunteer. (4) Arrange an appropriate training program to increase the volunteers’ self-confidence and job satisfaction, besides, volunteers’ personal relationship can be enhanced through initiating a growth group for them.
