In 1992, Kaplan &Norton had introduced the theory of Balanced scorecard. We know that it has been executed by many company for years.But it is just beginning in Taiwan. According to our experience, we understand that Balanced scorecard has two function ,one is Non-financial Performance Evaluation and the other is financial Performance Evaluation.
Traditionally,the value of business,the vision of business are executed through the stategies. Balanced scorecard like the same language make us can communicate others about strategies. The purpose of this study can help us to understand how bank use Balanced Scorecard to transfer strategy into action. Taishin Bank’s 「know-how」to excute the Balanced Scorecard is the greatest assets.
Do we have the problem of localization when we promote the Balanced Scorecard to Taishin Bank company? Do we have the challenge and difficulities when we promote the Balanced Scorecard to Taishin Bank company? We hope that passing this study to check the practice of execution if it match to the theory of Kaplan &Norton done.The study has visited deeply to our case study of Taishin Bank. We visited how they do with Balanced Scorecard and how they execute to Balanced Scorecard. We also visit to department of HR.and most of users-the departments of Marketing .According to this study we supply exploratory of this kind problems. We hope that our study is a new area and hope it supply new idea to new researchers.
