The author hopes to create a work with “female imagery” as the topic and to communicate individual typical thought and ideas through female imagery representation, and to express the inward point of view and author’s emotions with feminine typical vocabulary through the creation form. In this study, in addition to the individual creation ideas and step display, we match up the related creation subject matter of artists’ work and style analysis, such as Huang Jun-Se, Chang Shu-Mei, Hsieh Hung-Chun, Judy Chicago, Georgia O’Keeffe and etc. Besides, we also thoroughly discuss the feminine consciousness, typical vocabulary and related topic and etc, which are presented in the work of feminine artist at the present age, learn about the relationship between the growing background, society education and culture consciousness of modern feminine artist so as to sort out the image display of their work. Through the practice of art creation, I blend my own idea with technique and hope to create a work to present my style. The emphasis excerpts of the chapters and sections of this study are as follows: Chapter 1: Simone de Beauvior has stated: “One is not born a woman; one becomes one.” The discussion of this chapter emphasizes on female imagery and wishes to use feminine thought aspect as the starting point to carry out the entire target of art through life experience and theory discussion. Chapter 2: Discussing the related subject to female imagery, such as work style, work subject matter, work vocabulary of Eastern and Western feminine artists, and analyze the feminine consciousness presentation in the painting work of Taiwan feminine artists in the early period and of the present age. And at the end, we use female imagery presentation, self-consciousness pursuance and society and culture point of view as the summary. Chapter 3: In accordance with the references and pictures and literature information related to creation, we carry out the idea reintegration and practice starting from the origin of creation idea and match it up with medium material skill method, and create the work that can display self-image and style.
