Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 商管學院高階主管管理碩士學程 === 91 === This paper intends to describe the uniqueness of IPC (Industrial PC) industry, as well as the business models being implemented among the IPC companies in Taiwan. This paper first describes the definitions of business management, business strategy, and business models, and consolidates the information gathered from the questionnaires and interviews from five public listed or ready to be public IPC companies and three other companies who are active in Taiwan on how these companies position themselves and how they plan for new business developments. To briefly summarizing this thesis,
1. An IPC company should maintain its unique core value to differentiate itself to others — Core Competence.
2. No matter the headquarters or the branch offices, effective and efficient customer supports and services are the very basic function of IPC — Professionalism.
3. Quick product designs, developments, and modifications are the nature of IPC - Customization.
4. Add-on value is the key factor to stay close with OEM/ODM — Technology Advantage.
5. According to the conservative industry characteristics, distribution channels should be managed by partnership orientation approach - Customer Relationship.
