Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 機械與機電工程學系 === 91 === Water depletion survey, temperature measurements and flow visualizations were conducted to investigate transport phenomena of a 4mm×6mm×1.6mm loop heat pipe screen wick structure by heating power of 3W to 8W in a vacuum of 6 torr. Copper screen was used to form 3 different wick porosity of 47%, 53% and 61%, and porosity of phosphor bronze and stainless steel screen are 53%. The results showed that higher the porosity, higher the transport capacity. No significant differences were observed among 3 different wick materials operation.
