碩士 === 淡江大學 === 建築學系 === 91 === Abstract： Being an atmosphere for educational purposes, the design and layout of a school campus contains index purposes. The recent trend of educational innovation demands a school campus to function variously; architectural beauty and campus layout are not the only thing taken into consideration. From the experience we have learned from the 921 earthquake, we require more safety facilities in our campuses. Not only should we establish more preventive measures while maintaining old systems, but also set up an entire system of disaster prevention for the campuses and its surrounding neighborhood. However, many of the on-campus disaster precautions been neglected under some other purposes; furthermore, in case of emergency, the open space and facilities of these campuses had not been planned appropriately and accordingly.The purposes of this study are as fallows. 1.To evaluate the equipments of campus and opening resources of the space to be used as the exploitation under earthquake rescuing, and build up the disaster prevention of a safety campus. 2.To evaluate the current conditions of disaster prevention of the Tamkang University campus, then combine with the open space of the campus and resources of campus equipments and build up disaster prevention community base on the whole campus area. All residents of the community will be provided disaster prevention by building up open space of the whole campus. This study regards earthquake as the main subject. Also, this study used earthquake in 921 as our study resource.The region covers the Tamsui campus of Tamkang University and as well as its nearby communities as the current conditions of this research. By the analysis of the domestic and international studies, we establish three topics. 1. How to combine campus equipments and public resources to against accidents? 2. Which resource of the campus open space can be use for disaster prevention? 3. How can the disaster prevention of the campus combine with the disaster prevention of the city? This research was based on the campus of Tamkang University inTaipei County and as well as its nearby communities. The projects include: 1. Plan of using the disaster prevention of campus resources exploitation 2. Plan of using the inner path of campus 3. Plan of using space of refuge of inside of campus open space 4. Plan of using plant to proved disaster prevention 5. Plan of natural resources of campus open space 6. Plan of set up equipments in campus open space The conclusion of this research includes: 1. The disaster prevention of the community around campus under city safety 2. The new idea of disaster prevention of campus under city safety
