The parcel delivery service contractor has established the status as a representation rank of trucking business in the meantime. It is also from this time for the new style information revolution to happen and to have come to be called "IT revolution" by progress of an information technology on the other hand. Regardless of the type of industry, each company introduced the mainframe computer and tackled the increase in efficiency of office work or information. For example, under the name of "the home delivery of KURONEKOYAMATO", business rationalization is started under the name which will say Yamato systems development incorporated company (YSD) as establishment and a "NEKO system" from April 1973 also by YAMATO TRANSPORT which sold parcel delivery service first, the company is contributing to development expansion of a home delivery greatly, and the same thing can be said in other transportation industries. It searches for how research of this paper has conquered IT revolution of Japanese companies, the information system construction after IT introduction of the trucking business which especially represents a parcel delivery service contractor through the case study of three companies of parcel delivery service contractor higher ranks of Japan (YAMATO TRANSPORT, Nippon Express, and Sagawa Express), and various problems generated in the meantime [ of a parcel delivery service contractor / development and in the meantime ]. And in oversea market advance, Nippon Express will conclude east former electrical machinery and a licensing agreement especially from August 2000 in Taiwan, the selling start of the "pelican facilities" is carried out, and YAMATO TRANSPORT could say that it is approaching at the time to transfer the know-how of the parcel delivery service cultivated until now, since a unification group and a licensing agreement will be concluded from following April 2001, the selling start of the "home delivery" is carried out and competition is intensifying. The author expects that it is useful not only to development of industry but a life of people of Taiwan, and the degree of intimacy of Japan and Taiwan increases further the distribution system of Japan including the know-how in reference taking advantage of this in Taiwan immediately after a selling start in parcel delivery service with this paper more than the former.
