Construction phase is a significant procedure that fulfill owner’s concept in the construction engineering’s life cycle. Because of that, how do construction management implement have very closely connection with project performance. As an inspection engineer, he/she was the front line executor of construction management; to apply information technology appropriately, it would help construction quality improving by inspection engineer’s real-time management. After several revise, IEEE 802.11 series protocols have became the longest distance wireless local area network (WLAN) standard on the earth. By using wireless adapter, computer and mobile devices such as PDA would transfer file and explorer on the web site wirelessly within the effective distance. Many public places have setting up wireless instrument to provide citizen receive information immediately from the web site since its convenience character. This research applied 802.11 WLAN to construction job-site by practical testing. It developed a network server with inpection table and check-list to provide inspection engineer input real-timely by mobile devices at construction job-site, meanwhile transfer the input information to network server at the same time. On the other hand, this network server also offered FTP function that allow inpection engineer to perform constructional real-time image files uploading such as digital picture and dynamic video.
