碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 建築與都市設計研究所 === 91 === Since the 921 earthquake in Taiwan, the government has placed more great emphasis on the earthquake disastrous control and response. The urban space planning should be abreast of the disaster prevention connected with earthquake response. Due to the short of collaboration with manpower and consumer goods, the disaster prevention usually doesn’t match urban space planning quite well. So many problems have been found because of the unclear responsibility and obligation. Based on the above situations, urban space planning becomes the most important issue to be studied in the earthquake prevention. According to the disaster prevention plan of Taipei area made by Taipei government, every district should make its own administrative disaster prevention plan and therefore it’s going on positively now. But it doesn’t include urban space planning concerning urban disaster prevention which is connected with earthquake response in the administrative disaster prevention. And every district makes the administrative disaster prevention according to the plan which has been made by Taipei government, the problems which we mentioned before will appear again. So this study will examine the need of urban space when Taipei disasters prevention plan has been carried out. It’ll also compare with the analysis and conformity with urban disaster prevention space system and give the explanation of the essential application in Chon-Sung area in Taipei. Further pedagogical implications and suggestions for further studies about the urban space planning of the disaster prevention plan are provided at the end of the study.
