碩士 === 東海大學 === 建築學系 === 91 === The typical Taiwanese psychiatric hospital architecture model belongs to borderland of architecture design and required to modify by public for long, in this paper, adopting extensive and macroscopic view of point to probe into regards facilities initially and to study chronic ward section of psychiatric hospital as a stepping-stone to scope the whole concept. The subject was held in Taiwan and for the objectives are listed as following: A. To build up the basic building condition information of chronic ward section of psychiatric hospital. B. To organize the space type of fabrication model and regards concept in the plan. C. To deduce current relative chronic psychiatric hospital building space style forming factors. D. To probe into the fictitious image of space style fabrication meaning in current chronic psychiatric hospital. E. To analyze upon objectives and make conclusion for four classes of chronic psychiatric hospital. The studied subjects were implemented on 49 building of 45 departments in 40 units facilities within the period from December 2000 to August 2001 (retrieve rate 74%). A. Two establishments of background knowledge. In Chapter 2, a documentation review for proposing global view characteristic space of chronic psychiatric hospital as refer to the forming factors of current chronic psychiatric hospital building B. Demonstration for five major spaces’ subjects distribution trend In Chapter 3, a main method adopted by field investigations addition with data compiled statistics basis on selection notation, outdoors spaces, entire distributions, ward units, and ward building appearances. C. Three proposed topics to tied in study topics An investigation method explained in the Chapter 4, focus on the substantial space style common gender, substantial space style difference, and invented (fabricated) space style three topics by investigating integration references, space types, and documentation review. According to the current environment of chronic psychiatric hospital substantial space fabrication style, plan meaning, and relative resulting factors with respect to the understand of the future space remobilization source. In this paper, to discuss on upon factors by divided the whole concept into two portions: common gender portion represents area concept (culture, society, politics etc., which the convergence as regional character aspect to read directly on the domestic psychiatric medical treatment. For the difference portion, catalogue the total variation factors regarding the difference result in factors of individual institute property, such as time, authority, and types etc. However, different hospital model may manifest different limits and potential features in their development. Consequently, to manifest the optimal chronic psychiatric hospital model through by implement the fictitious image to achieve the objective.
